A few things worth knowing before you book.
Which eyeliner styles do you offer?
Lash enhancement, classic winged eyeliner and shaded winged eyeliner. The options above describe their visual finishes. If you’d like help choosing, book a free consultation.
Is eyeliner suitable if I have glaucoma?
Forever Flawless does not offer permanent eyeliner to clients with glaucoma. Email Samantha before considering another service, and discuss any relevant eye condition or medication with your treating clinician.
Do lash extensions need to be removed?
Yes. Samantha’s preparation guide requires them to be completely removed at least 72 hours before an eyeliner appointment.
What about lash growth serums?
Tell Samantha about any lash-growth product you use before booking. Her studio guide requires a minimum three-month pause before eyeliner. If it is prescribed, consult your prescribing clinician about any changes; do not stop it on your own.
Can I wear eye makeup afterward?
Samantha’s guide asks you to avoid mascara and other eye makeup for a minimum of ten days. Read the preparation and aftercare below before scheduling.
Are perfection sessions included?
They are separate from individual initial sessions: $90 + HST for lash enhancement and $115 + HST for classic or shaded winged eyeliner. The three-area package includes the lash enhancement perfection session.
What does the procedure feel like?
I use numbing before and during the procedure to help keep you comfortable. It is still a tattoo, so expect some pinchy sensations. My clients generally find it manageable, though everyone experiences sensation differently. I’ve had my brows, lips and eyeliner tattooed myself, so I can talk you through what to expect. If discomfort is a concern, book a free consultation and we can discuss it in depth.
How long should I allow for my appointment?
Lash enhancement takes approximately 1.5 hours, Babyliner approximately 2 hours, and classic or shaded winged eyeliner approximately 2.5 hours.
When will I need a perfection session or refresh?
Plan for an initial session, followed by a perfection session 6–10 weeks later. After that, refresh timing depends on how bold you like the result, how your skin retains pigment, and your skincare and sunscreen habits. Eyeliner generally needs a refresh around 3–5 years later. These are typical timings, rather than a fixed schedule for everyone.

Read the studio eligibility requirements. If you have previous PMU, email photos and receive approval before booking. Tell Samantha about relevant medical conditions, medications and recent treatments.
Skin and recent treatments
Keep your skin hydrated and follow your regular gentle skincare routine. Samantha’s guide asks you to avoid facials and chemical peels for two weeks before your appointment, and to allow two weeks after Botox or fillers. Avoid tanning and sunburn; a sunburn may mean the appointment cannot proceed.
Medication and supplements
Discuss medication, supplements and procedure suitability with your prescribing clinician and Samantha. Follow your clinician’s instructions for any changes or timing, including when to restart. Do not change prescribed medication on your own.
Lashes and eye products
Samantha’s guide requires lash extensions to be completely removed at least 72 hours beforehand. Tell her if you use lash-growth serums; her studio guide requires at least three months without them before eyeliner. Any change to a prescribed product must be discussed with your prescriber. No exfoliation is needed for eyeliner.
After your appointment
Keeping the area clean
Samantha’s guide asks you to keep the area clean by gently washing morning and night. Follow the individual instructions provided at your appointment.
Eye makeup and flaking
Avoid mascara, eyeshadow and other eye makeup for at least ten days. Do not pick or peel flaking skin. Ask Samantha before applying products near your eyes.
Changes during healing
Some tenderness or swelling can occur. Do not assume that worsening symptoms are a normal part of healing. Seek medical care promptly if you are concerned about infection, persistent or worsening swelling, or significant pain.
