Why is there so much variation in permanent makeup prices?!
Everyone has a budget that they need to be mindful of when booking beauty services. I am not the most expensive artist you'll find (I believe in making this service accessible to more than just the very wealthy), but I am also not the cheapest...
There are a variety of factors that go into pricing for permanent makeup, but please keep in mind that this is a completely unregulated industry and that means that booking with the cheapest artist is often a poor investment. The cost of permanent makeup removal is far more expensive than simply saving up to book with a high-quality artist in the first place!
A beginner artist will typically charge around $250 per service. For service with an experienced professional, you'll need to save up about $150-$250 more... When it comes to getting a tattoo on your face, the experience of working with an artist who has healed results, a wealth of experience, and top-notch education is usually worth the extra investment.
My prices are based on the following:
- My studio is located inside of a PROFESSIONAL commercial space - I'm invested in providing a safe, professional services and do not work out of a home studio
- Forever Flawless has been inspected and approved by the Simcoe-Muskoka District Health Unit - the requirements are stringent, and you can rest assured that you're in a clean and safe environment
- I am a highly educated artist with multiple certifications in all areas of permanent makeup (brows, lips, and all styles of eyeliner). Education is a hefty investment in this industry, and there are ZERO regulations ensuring that everyone is well-educated. Take the time to discuss education with potential artists - make sure they've taken IN PERSON courses and have not just studied online!
